Events 2026
Calbourne Water Mill Opening Weekend
Newport Road, Calbourne, Newport PO30 4JN
Join me for Calbourne Water Mill’s 2026 opening weekend! At the time of writing, I don’t have a great deal of detail but I am sure there will be lots on offer to celebrate the opening of one of the Island’s biggest attractions. I’ll post more details once I have them. Please also note that times posted are provisional at the moment.
Northwood House Spring and Garden Fair
Northwood House and Park, Ward Avenue, Cowes PO31 8AZ
The Isle of Wight Spring Art and Garden Fair has become one of the Island’s busiest early events and is a great opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent. This event is a true celebration of springtime with lots on offer. More details will be posted closer to the time.
Seaview Street Fayre
Madeira Road, Seaview PO34 5BA
Celebrate May Day Bank Holiday at Seaview Street Fayre. This is a smaller affair than the street fair at Bembridge later in the month but this one has a wonderful atmosphere. Again, it’s very well attended by locals and visitors alike and has a selection of truly talented artists and crafters.
Bembridge Street Fair
High Street, Bembridge
What better way to spend the Spring Bank Holiday Monday than here! This is always such a great event with something for everyone. Stalls line the High Street and local shops set up their own stalls for visitors to sample and buy. There’s lots on offer for kids, too. The village seems to excel at this sort of event. If you’re around then please come and take a look - Bembridge really does this very well!
The Royal Isle of Wight County Show
Isle of Wight County Showground, Cowes Road, Northwood PO30 5TP
This year I’ll be in the I Love Wight Makers’ Market at the County Show. I’ll be joining a group of hugely talented makers and artists all showcasing their crafts, including homewares, jewellery, ceramics, skincare, candles, prints and cards. Please do pop in to say hello.
The County Show is a great event with something for the whole family: equine events, the show farm, vintage tractors, show gardens, activities area, plus some great eats in the food pavilion! There really is a ‘field full of fun’ in the showgrounds, so come for the day and enjoy what the Island does best.

Come long and enjoy an afternoon at the Brightstone Summer Show!
